A moisture range of 10-15 % is generally good for bonding.

Our adhesives are ready to use. However, if needed, in case of certain applications where you need to thin the adhesive, we recommend adding a max of 5% of DM Water only, with thorough mixing. The same mix should be left to settle for 24 hours prior to using.

Artcol, Richcol, Starke can all be used. However, for making high quality bats. We recommend Starke Grade 503PL. The same will increase the durability as well as water resistance of the bats.

Starke can be successfully used in the following applications/processes:

  • Cold Presses
  • Hot Presses
  • Post Forming
  • Roller Presses
  • Lamination of Mica
  • Edge to Edge wood bonding
  • Finger Joining

We generally recommend a pressing of time if at least 1 hour in case of Starke. However, it will all depend on the ambient conditions. The hotter it is , lower the time needed. In case of Artcol & Richcol, the time needed under clamps should be at least 4-6 hours.

They are water based & hence much better for general well being.

Stärke is available in:

  • Plastic Pails 1 kg, 2.5 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg and 20 kg
  • Plastic Jars 1 kg, 2 kg and 5 kg
  • HDPE barrels 200 kg
  • Plastic Carboys : 50 kg

     ARTCOL is available in:

  • Plastic Pails 250 gm, 500 gm, 1 kg, 2.5 kg, 4 kg, 10 kg, 20 kg and 25 kg
  • HDPE barrels 50 kg and 200 kg

    RICHCOL is available in:

  • 1 Kg, 500 g (Pouch)
  •  Plastic Pails : 5 kg, 10 kg, 20 kg, 50 Kg

    Starke-Melt

Hot Melt Adhesives are available in 25 kg paper bags.

Yes, the products are readily available in SriLanka with Avron Interiors.

Our Starke Grade 503PL is best for high strength furniture. Where you are bonding hardwoods.

Yes, you can go ahead & make good furniture with Starke 503PL

Our Starke Grade (70) is best for water resistant bonding. The setting speed is also faster. Also, our Artcol & Richcol Blue cab also be used for Mica Pressing.

It is a single component, ready to use product.

Our Artcol, Richcol Blue & Starke 70 are best for all kinds of Mica Lamination onto wooden surfaces.

Our Starke is best suitable for Post forming.

If they want to use water proof glue, our recommendation is to use the D3 Starke.

Even Artcol can be used for the same if water resistant is not needed.

Starke has been made using a new breakthrough technology called (CIFPC) Controlled Intelligent Felon Phase cross linking.

Starke is fast setting glue which is water resistant in nature.

Normal white glues generally take almost double the time is also not water proof.

For achieving full water resistant, it is recommended to keep for 7 days.

Shelf life of Starke is 8 months

It is always recommended to keep the container tightly closed while using and also when storing?

A skin is formed on the surface. Please remove the skin & then use it.

They can be used for all kinds of cellulose substrates like wood, paper, cloth & similar kind of porous substrates.

Normal D1, D2, D3 glues are useful for bonding surface which are porous substrates only. However, our PV7050 is a special product to bond Porous substrate to Non-Porous substrate like PVC to Ply/MDF.

By porous, we mean surfaces which can absorb water or let moisture penetrate in or go out.

In this case, you will need to use our special white glue called as PV-7050. This is a unique product for any surface which is difficult to bond with a normal White Glue.

Mostly Ply to PVC sheets, Ply to PVC Membranes, MDF to PVC & similarly any Polar to Non-Polar Surfaces.

Not all of them are water proof. Our Starke series of glues are all water proof in nature.
