Our Story
Surfactant Industries is a specialised manufacturing unit and division of the Lohiya Group of Industries, established in 1950. The parent group initially operated in the Ultramarine Blue and Detergents segments.
In the 1990s, Surfactant Industries emerged as a focused unit producing high-end adhesives and emulsion polymers. Our D3 Wood Adhesive Stärke was pioneered in India at a time when it was manufactured by only a select few companies worldwide.
Today we manufacture water-resistant wood adhesives meeting EN 204 D3, D2 wood glues, paper adhesives, lamination adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, glass cleaners, and metal treatment chemicals.
